The upper follows the AM95 construction with significant material upgrades: a smooth black leather toe box and mudguard, a black diamond/rhombus-quilted textured mesh at the quarter panel and side wall (a Corteiz-specific material substitution replacing the standard AM95 mesh), and the signature AM95 gradient spine overlays rendered in a black-to-dark-charcoal pebbled leather gradient. An iridescent/chameleon blue-shifting embroidered mini Swoosh sits on the lateral spine panel — the only colour element on the upper, shifting from deep blue to teal to silver depending on the viewing angle and light.
